Solutions to Your Resolutions!
It’s already January 9th—how did THAT happen?! Have your 2025 resolutions started to lose a little steam? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. We all lose momentum sometimes. Fortunately, Pet Friendly Services is here to help!
Today, we’re sharing three ways to stick to your resolutions—and guess what? Every single one of them helps cats and dogs! It’s a win-win in more ways than one.
This is just part one—stay tuned for more resolution solutions next week!
Resolution 1: Read More
Solution: Adopt a Lap Cat!
Adopting a cat from a shelter or rescue not only brings joy and companionship into your life but also opens the door to a world of reading opportunities! Cats are known for their calming presence, creating a peaceful environment that encourages relaxation and focus. Plus, these furry companions have an uncanny ability to find the perfect lap to nap on—and rather than disturb them, it’s the perfect excuse to keep reading!

Resolution 2: Financial Planning
Solution: Join the Love Them for Life Legacy Fund
The new year is a perfect time to focus on financial planning. As a donor, you’ve already made a meaningful impact on Indiana’s animals. By joining Pet Friendly Forever, our legacy group, you can ensure your work continues for years to come. This special group consists of individuals who have included Pet Friendly Services of Indiana in their estate plans. By doing so, you’ll help even more animals find loving homes, instead of spending their final days alone in a shelter.
Long-term planning is a wonderful way to create a lasting legacy. You can include a donation of funds, stock, bonds, or other assets to a nonprofit in your will or estate plan. Together, we can ensure your compassion for animals continues now and forever.
It’s never been easier to give a gift of stock, bonds, or crypto-currency! E-mail info@PetFriendlyServices.org to learn more!
Resolution 3: Join a Lifesaving Team
Solution: Drive with a Pet Friendly Plate!
2024 was a record-setting year for the Pet Friendly Plate! We now have a team of over 31,000 animal lovers (31,820 to be exact) who are saving lives every time they drive with a Pet Friendly Plate.
If you haven’t already, YOU can join us this year by switching to the Pet Friendly Plate. It’s easy and can be done at ANY time—the BMV will even prorate your fee! Every time someone chooses the Pet Friendly Plate, $25 goes directly to spay and neuter pets in need.
