Resolution: Get Healthy

Solution: Adopt a Rescue Dog!

Your next, best, training partner is at a shelter or rescue! In fact, a surveyin the “Year in Sport Trends“showed that 76% of Strava athletes with pets say their furry companions help get them out the door when they wouldn’t go otherwise – and that exercising with their pet is more fun.

Here are a few reasons why adopting a dog is a GREAT way to commit to fitness goal:

  • Regular Exercise Routine: Adopting a dog encourages a consistent and regular exercise routine
  • Accountability Partner: Dogs thrive on routine and look forward to their daily exercise.
  • Stress Reduction and Mental Health: Interacting with a dog has been proven to reduce stress and increase feelings of happiness.
