INDIANAPOLIS – Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, in partnership with Public Vet mobile clinic, is thrilled to announce the success of The FIX is IN! program for 2024. Though this partnership, Public Vet hosted 155 spay/neuter clinics across the state , and Pet Friendly Services provides financial assistance to community members who need help fixing their cats.
In total, 14,0007 cats were fixed this year, reducing shelter intake across the state and helping countless communities address cat overpopulation.

- Fort Wayne: 282 cats
- Gary: 192 cats
- Huntington: 505 cats
- LaPorte: 454 cats
- South Bend: 487 cats

Western Indiana:
- Brazil: 377 cats
- Terre Haute: 955 cats
Southern Indiana:
- Connersville: 658 cats
- Evansville: 788 cats
- Greensburg: 342 cats
- Jeffersonville: 267 cats
- Lanesville: 452 cats
- Madison: 370
- New Albany: 488 cats
- Rushville: 432 cats
- Scottsburg: 684 cats
“Every cat we fix represents fewer homeless kittens, fewer shelter intakes, and more lives saved,” said Cheri Storms, Executive Director at Pet Friendly Services. “Thanks to our supporters, we’re easing the burden on shelters and rescues, and we look forward to helping even more cats in 2025.”

Public Vet’s goal is to identify communities that are at risk, and provide & improve the quality of life of the Animals and pets within it. Public Veterinary Service targets the Community, using veterinary care as an incentive to network and educate every community they work in. Their goal is to identify communities that are overpopulated and at high risk and address any factors that adversely affect health.
