October Success Story: Pepper
Pepper was trapped and fixed by our partners at Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control. Her life was saved with a spay surgery because she had pyometra – a bacterial infection of the uterus. Left untreated, this condition is fatal.
After Pepper was spayed, she was given IV fluids and antibiotics to help clear up any infection. Pepper stayed at the shelter for a few days after surgery to monitor her recovery and eating/drinking. Once Pepper was medically cleared, her caretakers were extremely happy that she was safe and welcomed her back home.
We have a backlog of requests to help over 100 cats like Pepper.
We need your support to be able to provide them with lifesaving surgeries.

Catching up with The FIX is IN!
So far this year The FIX is IN! has hosted 105 clinics and fixed 9,826 cats!
Thanks to supporters like you, Pet Friendly Services provides financial assistance at each clinic to ensure low-cost spay/neuter is accessible to those who need it most.
Public Vet is currently scheduling clinics across Indiana! Pet owners should book appointments right away, as spots are limited. Surgeries are by appointment only. Sign up at www.pub.vet.

Meet your newest family member at the Love them For Life adoption event, hosted by Tom Wood Subaru and Pet Friendly Services of Indiana! Over twenty shelters and rescues will be on site with adoptable cats and dogs ready to find their furever home! A $25 adoption discount will apply.
We will also have FREE vaccines and $10 microchipping (while supplies last!).
Bring your pet for a meet and greet with adoptable pets, and bring your appetite too because a FREE LUNCH will be provided!
