Don’t Drive Without It!

For many shelters, spay/neuter surgeries are not built into their budgets. This means that they depend on individual donations and the support of Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana. When you purchase a Pet Friendly license plate, you are supporting the work of 300 shelters and rescues across the state and giving an animal the best chance at a new beginning.

Already have a Pet Friendly plate, but you’d like to do more to help Indiana’s animals? Become a sustaining donor. Just $5 per month pays for a full surgery over the course of a year. We’re all in this together, and your financial gift to SNSI really does help us help them.

In memory of Margot Finot, a friend to many in the animal welfare world and companion to Ginny Kingsbury. Those who knew Margot were proud to call her a friend. Margot graduated from Shortridge High School and Indiana University, working as a secretary throughout her career. She spent her retirement years traveling to visit family, antiquing, reading and enjoying the theatre.

Her many friends miss her dearly, including Leila Peters, Dr. Ruth Landau, Mindy Burcham, Lima Olsen, Marilyn Greenlee , Carol Kubli and Xandra Hamilton

In memory of Shadow, the beloved cat of Leila Peters and Ruth Landau. Shadow will be sorely missed. – From Xandra Hamilton

Animal welfare fact of the week

Did you know that kittens begin reproducing as early as 4 months of age? If you have cats or kittens, be sure to get them fixed. Spring is “kitten season” where shelters and rescue organizations become overwhelmed with too many animals.

Help us help them by taking action now.
