January Newsletter: Upcoming Clinics & Lifesaving Stats!

Leaping into a New Year of Helping Animals!

Are you asking yourself where the last year went? So are we!

2022 is here, and there is work to be done. With your help, Pet Friendly Services fixed 13,260 animals in need last year. This year, we can do even more.

When you become a monthly donor today, here is the impact you can make:

  • $10/month will fix a shelter animal
  • $20/month will fix a littler of kittens
  • $40/month will fix a littler of puppies
  • $150/month will fix up to 150 cats by sponsoring a FIX is IN! Clinic

When you join our lifesaving team, you’re helping animals in immediate need and preventing hundreds more from entering a shelter. Together, we can end needless suffering and the euthanasia of adoptable dogs and cats.

Lucky Duckie!

Did you know that one of the biggest services that small, volunteer-run rescues preform for animals in need is pulling them from high-volume shelters? When a cat or dog needs special medical attention, it can go beyond the scope of work a shelter can provide. That’s when they need a hero – and lucky for Duckie, one found her.

Little is known about Duckie’s past, but what we do know is that she had a rough start. She came to the shelter malnourished, and covered in sores from head to tail. Duckie needed to have a back leg amputated, and one of her front legs was broken in multiple places. She was pulled by Sketchy Mutts & Underdogs, and thanks to them, she has a second chance.

Pet Friendly Services funds thousands of surgeries each year, including one for this lucky pup. Duckie is also a recipient of the Indy’s Voice 4 Animals Moore Life Medical Fund Grant. This fund is designed specifically to support the medical cost expenses for volunteer-led rescues who pull animals from Indianapolis Animal Care Services.

The FIX is IN! had a successful 2021, with 55 clinics taking place across the state and over 5,000 cats fixed. We’re off and running again in 2022 with the goal of helping even more. This critical services expands surgery capacity in the area

Thanks to our donors, financial assistance will be provided to families who could not otherwise afford to get them fixed. With your help we can continue to help to those in need and address overpopulation at the source!

Here’s where The FIX is IN! will be next:
