Our lifesaving strategies are already making a difference. With your support, we’re fixing the pets that need it most and keeping it as affordable as possible. Despite rising costs, our Spay-Neuter Assistance Program remains at just $25 for eligible families. We stretch donor dollars to honor your gift and save more lives.
Animal welfare is continuing to face obstacles, including a nationwide veterinary shortage that has led to longer wait times. We recently created our “What to do While You Wait for a Spay/Neuter Appointment” document to assist pet owners navigating behavioral risks while their veterinary appointment is pending.
Read on to see how and where we’ve made a difference so far this year!

The #1 way to reduce the burden on shelters is by reducing the intake of cats!
Catching up with The FIX is IN!
“The Fix is IN!” is back, bigger, and better than ever in 2024! Thanks to special grant funding from the Joanie Bernard Foundation and the Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust, we’re expanding our financial support to targeted areas of the state. This will allow for more clinics, more access to spay/neuter, and more fixed cats!
This much-needed program reaches under-served, and clinics can fix up to 100 cats per day. That’s 100 cats that will go home with their families to live happy lives rather than having unwanted litters litters arriving at your local shelter.
Pet Friendly Services provides financial assistance to families and colony caretakers who could not otherwise afford to fix their cats, helping to stop overpopulation at the source. Here’s the impact we’ve made so far this year and a brief video about the Fix is IN!
To see where The Fix is IN! will be next and to make an appointment, visit Public Vet’s website. More clinics will be listed soon!
Pet Friendly Services is the only statewide non-profit that addresses pet overpopulation at the source! In spite of the vet shortage and increasing prices, our small team is getting them fixed!
Your support makes a meaningful difference to the lives of Indiana’s cats and dogs. By being a donor, becoming a sponsor, or simply sharing our information, YOU are helping us save lives!
