Sending Help to a Steuben County Hoarding Case
More than 40 animals were recently rescued from a hoarding situation in Steuben County, creating an immediate need for veterinary care and resources as the animals begin their journey toward new homes.
Pet Friendly Services stepped in to spay/neuter 25 dogs, helping the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County. Our support helps ease the shelter’s financial burden so they can focus their limited resources on critical care.

Helping Indiana Pets After the Floods
Following the recent historic flooding, Pet Friendly Services has been working to help pets, families, shelters, and rescues across Indiana recover. We connected pet owners with pet food pantries and other resources while providing additional spay/neuter funding to Homer’s Helpers, Fluffy Butts Rescue, Humane Society of Hobart, and the Animal Protection League, all of which were directly impacted by the disaster.
We’ve also asked rescues, shelters and community cat programs to reach out to us if they were impacted by flooding and/or severe weather. We’re currently determining the need, and we’ll help everyone that we can. Stay tuned for more information.
Sometimes the best way to show the impact of spay/neuter funding is to hear directly from the organizations putting it to work.

The FIX is IN! is bringing affordable spay/neuter clinics to communities across Indiana this September.
Appointments are filling quickly, and many clinics sell out completely. You can book your appointment online, and if cost is a barrier, financial assistance is available for Indiana residents.
Public Vet fixes kittens as young as 6 weeks old, but don’t wait! Getting kittens fixed before 5 months of age prevents unwanted litters.

Looking to add a new member to your family? Join Pet Friendly Services and local rescue groups for the Love Them For Life Adoption Event at Tom Wood Subaru! Cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes will be there looking for their forever homes.
Pet Friendly Services is providing participating rescues with free spay/neuter vouchers to help get pets adoption-ready. Plus, adopters can enjoy a $25 adoption fee discount and free lunch!

When you choose the Pet Friendly Plate, $25 goes directly to Pet Friendly Services of Indiana to fund spay/neuter programs across the state. For just $40 per year, your plate becomes something much bigger than a license plate. It’s a simple way to help prevent unwanted litters and save lives every time you get behind the wheel.
Don’t have a Pet Friendly Plate yet? You don’t have to wait until your registration renewal. You can switch to the Pet Friendly Plate anytime, and the BMV will prorate the cost.
