2025 Event Information:
Get ready to let your hair down (or spiked up!) for a great cause! The Indy Hair Ball, presented by VEG ER for Pets, is a free, family & dog-friendly outdoor concert benefiting Pet Friendly Services of Indiana.
Enjoy live music, beer and wine, food trucks, and adoptable pets from three local rescues. It’s a night to rock out, connect with fellow pet lovers, and support lifesaving spay/neuter and adoption.

Beautiful downtown venue: The historic Indianapolis Propylaeum is beautiful mansion nestled into the the Old Northside, a quite neighborhood just north of downtown
Free Parking: a small lot is available north of the Propylaeum, and there is ample street parking nearby

More Than Just a Concert
Every dollar raised helps us fund essential spay/neuter surgeries that keep animals out of shelters and in loving homes. In 2024 alone, Pet Friendly Services helped fix over 15,000 cats and dogs across Indiana.

Doors open: 5:00 PM – Set up on the lawn, take a self-guided tour of the Propylaeum (no dogs inside the mansion), and visit with adoptable animals!
Live Music: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Is the event really free?
Yes! Thanks to our generous sponsors, admission is free for all guests. Snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine are available for purchase.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available on-site (north of the mansion) and nearby street parking is free and accessible.
What should I wear?
Dress for fun—and the weather! Hair Ball is an outdoor concert, so we recommend comfortable clothes and shoes you don’t mind standing or dancing in. Feel free to show off your style with band tees, animal prints, or even matching outfits with your pup. Just check the forecast and bring layers if needed—this is Indiana, after all!
What should I bring?
Bring a lawn chair and a blanket for your comfort. No outside food or beverage allowed.
