Rescues & Shelters! Here’s how to pin a post on your Facebook page:
For Desktop:
- Log in to Your Account: Open your web browser and log in to your Facebook account.
- Go to Your Page: Navigate to the Facebook page where you want to pin a post. You must be an admin or editor of the page to pin a post.
- Find the Post: Scroll through your page’s timeline or create a new post that you want to pin.
- Click the Three Dots: On the post, locate the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of the post.
- Select “Pin to Top of Page”: In the dropdown menu, click on “Pin to Top of Page.”
- Verify the Pin: Refresh the page and check that the post is now at the top of your page’s timeline with a “Pinned Post” label.
For Mobile (Facebook App):
- Open the Facebook App: Log in to your account via the app.
- Navigate to Your Page: Tap the menu (three horizontal lines or your profile picture) and select the page you manage.
- Find or Create the Post: Scroll to the post you want to pin, or create a new one.
- Tap the Three Dots: Tap the three dots (•••) in the top-right corner of the post.
- Select “Pin to Top of Page”: In the menu that appears, tap “Pin to Top of Page.”
- Confirm the Pin: Go back to your page’s timeline to ensure the post is pinned with the “Pinned Post” label.
