Dear Pet Friendly Supporter,
We’re happy to have you here! We also want to check: are you getting the right updates?
In addition to this general supporter newsletter, Pet Friendly Services also publishes newsletters specifically for animal shelters and rescues and veterinary professionals. Whether you’re a pet lover, shelter partner, veterinarian, or all three, you can choose which updates you’d like to receive.
Take a moment to review your email preferences and subscribe to the newsletters that interest you most. Choose your newsletter preferences here.
With that, here’s how your support is making a difference across Indiana.
From Hoarding House to Hope
When authorities entered a Scott County home this summer, they found 42 dogs living in deplorable conditions. The dogs had spent their lives surrounded by filth, many having never known proper veterinary care or the simple comfort of a safe place to rest.
Before these dogs could begin new lives, they needed one critical thing: spay/neuter surgery. Thanks to supporters and the Pet Friendly license plate, Pet Friendly Services immediately stepped in with $2,800 to fund surgeries for unfixed dogs.
Rescue partners, veterinarians, foster families, and volunteers came together to give these dogs the fresh start they deserved. Today, the dogs are safe and looking for forever homes. Many are now available for adoption from Southern Indiana Animal Rescue.
Sometimes we receive the most wonderful heartfelt messages from people we’ve helped – and we love to share them. In our new “Tails from our Mailbox” feature, we’ll do just that!
I live in a trailer court and have the problem of people dumping their unwanted animals here. I am able to assist all with starting a new life either being rehomed, or staying on with us in the park. I’m sure you realize that would be impossible without this program. Thank you so much! – Laurel
